What if you slowed down. Lifted your nose from your smartphone to take the time to get informed. This is our proposition, that of the Sept team, the first French-speaking slow journalism media.

Let's dare to be useful. Our mission is not to entertain you. The useful journalism we practice does not mean used or utilitarian journalism. We are useful because we illuminate our time in an intelligible way and allow you to better understand it to make you informed citizens.

Let's dare to excel. We practice quality journalism. True journalism that costs more than information pre-chewed by communication agencies or governments. Which does not depend solely on the journalist. Our teams are diverse: proofreaders, editors, journalists, photographers, graphic designers, multimedia specialists, fact-checkers… Together, we work to deliver an artisanal product worthy of a protected designation of origin. That's why we take the greatest care in the form of our content.

Let's dare to innovate. We constantly improve our content and interfaces thanks to your feedback and comments to make your user experience as comfortable and innovative as possible. At the risk, sometimes, of making mistakes... to better bounce back.

Let's dare intelligence. We do not hold the truth. We are the ephemeral carriers, the intermediaries of information that must live, spread, provoke debate, and advance our societies in intelligence and reason.

Let's dare to change the pace. To the diktat of news and social networks, we prefer the information neglected and hidden by the majority of the media. We take the time to delve, to dig elsewhere to bring back and tell you new stories that make sense. With the only editorial line, that of an original perspective on the course of our world.

Let's dare to be long. Today, we can change the world in 280 characters. But to tell it, to understand it, much more is needed. We therefore give space to our stories, breadth, length, and nuance, because the world is not all black or white.
