Check out the latest edition of Sept Mook!
Sept is Switzerland’s first and only “mook” (a blend of “magazine” and “book”).
Support Sept! Give time to reality: a donation today, solid stories tomorrow. For fifteen years, Sept has been telling the world with perspective and precision. Long-term investigations, reports, four mooks per year, podcasts, books: this work requires time, travel, meticulous verification, and tight editing.
Production costs are rising, but we have chosen to keep our subscriptions as fair as possible. Today, to continue producing dense, independent, and rigorous stories, we need your support.
1. You fund investigations, not slogans
Each contribution allows more time in the field, cross-referencing sources, revisiting people met, documenting what doesn't fit in 280 characters.
2. You protect real editorial independence
Your donations reduce our dependence on advertising and political agendas. They allow us to choose topics because they are important, not because they are profitable.
3. You support journalism that takes care of reality
Telling with nuance, contextualizing, acknowledging what we don't know yet: this requires time and a team. Your support makes this work possible.

Concretely, what does your donation fund?
You contribute notably to:
- additional days of reporting in the field;
- long-term investigations, sometimes followed over several years;
- the production of our mooks (editing, proofreading, layout, printing);
- hosting and maintaining the Sept.info website;
- paying journalists, photographers, translators, and editors.
Our commitment?
Editorial independence: we choose our topics based on their public interest, not partisan or commercial interests.
Long-term focus: we prioritize long-term investigation and reporting over immediate reactions.
Respect for the reader: explaining, contextualizing, acknowledging complexity rather than oversimplifying.
