À la maison, la bière remplaçait le lait, la colère tenait lieu de parole. Ma mère me battait, mon père regardait ailleurs, et le seul cœur fidèle battait dans le corps d’un chien noir nommé Blacky. Nous partagions les coups, la faim, les silences. J’ai grandi dans la peur, mais aussi dans la rage de vivre. J’ai connu les hôpitaux, les mensonges, l’école qui juge et les voisins qui détournent les yeux. Et pourtant, quelque chose en moi refusait de mourir...
Pourquoi il faut écouter les enfants volés
Pendant près d’un siècle, des milliers d’enfants ont été arrachés à leurs familles par l’État suisse, placés dans des foyers, des fermes ou des institutions. Officiellement, c’était «pour leur bien». En réalité, beaucoup ont vécu l’humiliation, la violence et l’abus. Un scandale trop longtemps tu.
